She has worked in the veterinary industry since 2008. Getting to work in clinics and hospitals since her high school days Cynthia has gotten to work through nearly every capacity from kennel staff, reception, assistant, administrator, veterinary technician, and manager.
Cynthia has a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Ottawa and a Masters of Sustainability and Environmental Management from the University of Saskatchewan. In the environmental field, Cynthia worked as a consultant and an environmental and occupational health and safety technician. She’s had the pleasure of overseeing wonderful bioremediation projects and has gained sound knowledge and passion for this field. Academically she has found success through her Masters thesis project that was issued a grant from Parks Canada for her research on polar bear-human interactions in Wapusk National Park (WNP).
Cynthia has a special love for huskies.
As a newer Aurora resident, Cynthia is excited to make a meaningful contribution at Aurora Animal Clinic and this wonderful community!
