Dr. Daphne earned her Bachelor of Science from York University in 2019 before travelling “down under” to Australia to pursue her veterinary studies. In 2023, she graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The University of Melbourne, where she developed a special interest in surgery and emergency medicine.
While in Australia, Dr. Daphne's initial plan to foster animals in need quickly turned into the adoption of two kittens – along with not one, but three plane tickets back home to Canada!
Nestled in expansive nature, she now shares her home with two dogs (Stella the German Shepherd and Luna the Shichon) and four cats (Sugar, Autumn, Princess, and Polly). When she is not rescuing animals or chasing after her ever-expanding feline family, Dr. Daphne can be found playing soccer and volleyball, hiking in nature, or playing the piano.
