Dr. Kat graduated from the University of Guelph in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science and acquired her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 after spending her clinical year at Michigan State University (Go Green!!).
Dr. Kat’s passion for animals started young as she helped family and friends care for their furry friends. As a student she strived to help others through her activities as a teaching assistant and animal foster parent. Today Dr. Kat strives to help pet parents understand and improve the lives and wellbeing of their pets with her clinical interests in preventative and internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, and neurology.
Dr. Kat lives with her partner Andrew and their three cats: Sheena, Maci and Ellie. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, hiking, and spending time with family.
