Euthanasia

A compassionate procedure for cats suffering from chronic pain or terminal illness.

Euthanasia may be one of the hardest decisions you will ever have to make. We will be with you and support you every step of the way. We offer euthanasia to our clients to provide a peaceful and pain-free way to honour the life of your cat due to illness and a declining quality of life.

When should I consider euthanasia?

Euthanasia should be considered when your cats quality of life is compromised. Please phone the clinic and we will help you make this very difficult decision.

Can you stay with your cat during euthanasia?

We encourage owners to stay with and hold their cats. Favourite toys, as well as, beds or blankets, can be brought along as well so your cat will be comfortable and in familiar surroundings when they pass.

Do you offer pet bereavement support service?

We direct owners to the Ontario Veterinary College pet loss phone line as well as to the pet loss support group at petloss.com.
